The Hi-Speed solution enables
ArdenNet to deliver data services over their existing dial-up
up to
5 X
the normal speed.
How the System Works
The client and server communicate over an accelerated
channel, giving you your faster speed.
Using patented proprietary data compression technology, the SlipStream SP solution is able to increase the capacity of existing network infrastructure by
reducing bandwidth usage.
The SlipStream Accelerator Server retrieves data from the requested external web server using a high-speed Internet connection, then compresses and optimizes the content for the last mile trip. The Accelerator Server optimizes the traffic over the
web browsing, and e-mail.
The Hi-Speed Dialup is comprised of two components: a scalable, high-performance, configurable content acceleration server
at the ISP and a lightweight client software application.
